What should you do after installation?
OK. Let's just get used to it.
- Launch user area window and browse around until you are comfortable with it
- Launch another window for admin
- realtor747/admin/index.php
- Set your password
- Menu: [Setup] - [Admin Password]
- Change the template to "silver"
- Menu: [Setup] - [System Wide] - [Template]
- Refresh user area window to see the change
- Now you should understand what a template is for
- Change the template to "white2"
- Change Document Title
- Menu: [Setup] - [System Wide] - [Document Title]
- Check title bar of user window to see if the title has been changed
- Check Categories
- Menu: [Setup] - [Categories]
- Change the numbers in "order" columns to understand what that means
- Take a deep look at the order of categories in user area
- To see any changes, you have to refresh your user window.
- Check Menu Pages
- Menu: [Setup] - [Menu Pages]
- Change the name "Extra Page 2" for extra2.html file to "Cool Page" and enable it
- Notice the change in user area.
- Item Attributes
- Menu: [Setup] - [Item Attributes]
- Add a new attribute called "Floor Type" and save it
- Check Menu: [Listings] - [Listing Edit] - [Attributes]
- Do you see the new attribute?
- Now delete the attribute you just created
- Thumbnailing
- Menu: [Setup] - [Thumbnailing]
- If your web server provides good environments, you'll see several options
- Otherwise you'll see an error message
